ADHD Medication Appointments
We prescribe medication for children and young people aged 6 years until 19th birthday. We do not prescribe beyond the 19th birthday and we will work with you and the child to support the transition of care to an alternative private provider or NHS.
ADHD Medication Initiation Appointment
£350
60-minute appointment; if your child already has a diagnosis of ADHD and you wish to discuss treatment options. This is a 60-minute appointment to explore with you treatment options.
We require formal diagnosis of NICE compliant ADHD assessment. This will be reviewed by our team, it must meet our own assessment standards and may incur additional costs if this assessment is completed by another provider.
Medication Review Appointment
£150
Once your child has commenced on medication, they must attend ongoing monthly appointments for a medication review until we have established an effective therapeutic dose. This allows us to prescribe safely by monitoring side effects, reviewing benefits of taking the medication and make any necessary dosage adjustments or switch to an alternative medication. This process typically takes 3-6 months. This is a 30 minute appointment and can be conducted face to face or online.
6 Month Review Appointment
£170
In accordance with NICE Guidance and our own shared care agreements, we provide 6 monthly reviews for children and young people aged 10-19 years and 4 monthly reviews for children under the age of 10 years.

Medication costs are not included in our pricing. Medication is charged directly by CloudRx our pharmacy partner.
Amethyst Assessment Centre reserves the right to charge £90+ for any appointments requested / required in addition to the assessment pathway. You will be informed of any additional costs prior to appointments. *OT face to face appointments will incur travel costs at £0.50 per mile.

Missed appointments or cancelled less than 48 hours’ notice incur a £60 fee.
